i found the staff friendly and helpful. they organized a beautiful birthday party with amazing decorations for a family. the breakfast offered plenty of options and tasted delicious. i really enjoyed the guitarist they had at dinner.
i noticed BUGS could get inside because rooms aren't sealed properly due to the old balinese doors.

The breakfast became a bit of a concern. My husband unfortunately experienced food poisoning after our second breakfast there, SO it made us wary of eating at the hotel again. We ended up having most of our meals elsewhere. I mentioned this to the reception but the staff didn't seem too concerned. getting warm water in the shower took an excessively long time! sometimes up to 15 minutes, and toward the end of our stay we only had cold water.

the gardens are lovely and i adored the pool area! the staff members were so kind and very helpful too. i had such a wonderful time and definitely recommend it! breakfast buffet and the restaurant impressed me too. i really had great value for money.
the villa padlock door system and the floor bolt to close it were a bit tricky! mosquitos could get in, annoying. mosquito repellent is definitely needed for future stays!

the hotel's gardens were well kept.
the air conditioning in my room was terrible, it couldn't cool the room below 24 degrees (i struggled to sleep comfortably). also, the pillows were lumpy. i was also concerned when the water smelled like methane gas.

the location was close to the beach and shops.
The room i booked was not available. I had booked a twin bed room two months prior. the hotel is down a long driveway and the area is not well lit at night.
